Hello
Hi there, i'm Sunny Duffield and i am a 21 year old illustrator currently living just outside of Edinburgh, Scotland. at the moment I am currently dipping my toes into lots of different styles and techniques with my art, trying to explore and have fun while still making things close to my heart is my top priority at the moment.
My Story
currently in my life i am just finishing up my education for the moment after studying a variety of art and design courses, spanning for very general foundation courses to going into a specific illustration course all of which i have found so beneficial to my growth as both a person and an artist. My art and illustrations at the moment is leaning towards the more digital side as it is something that i am very new to so i am trying to practice as much as i can, however i'm not letting that stop me from getting lost in paintings or using my oil pastels ( i don't think i could ever not use my oil pastels if i am being honest). a lot of my current art outside of education has been influenced by my experiences in life and navigating gender and expression as while in the past years studying i came to terms with being non-binary, which definitely has influenced a lot of my art. i also take a lot of inspiration just from my daily life, doing random drawings and paintings of my pets and my partner and even the things i see in my day to day. even when i'm not doing illustrations i find myself still drawn to lots of different creative outlets like crochet and textiles so 9/10 if i'm not drawing l'll be doing something like that instead.
